Week 2

Our second week will begin with a look at the two different printing techniques available to us - transfer printing using a heat press and, block printing.

Week 3

In our third week, we’ll find out how to construct our bag and to make the drawstring fastener, all ready for beginning our decorating next week.

Week 4

Children will be encouraged to experiment with mark making, painting and collage using transfer dyes.  We’ll explore design, colour and pattern through block printing using handmade printing blocks using foam and other experimental materials such as packaging.  We’ll then make designs for our bags ready for our final week.
